Monster Bash

Monster Bash is a humorous multiplayer Sphero smash-em-up game where each Sphero is represented by a rounded fun loving, noisy, monster on the Player's mobile device. The object is to Bash other player's Sphero's while dodging other's attempt to Bash you!
Lobby:
As the Players enter the game, they are presented with the Lobby where they see the other local players joining the Game. There is a library of cartoonish sounds that map to joining games, waiting for players, and starting the game which adds to the humor since each player's phone contributes it's own sounds.
Monster Customization:
Each player can customize their monster's name color where the color is used to set Sphero's color and to help players decide on who to target based on the scoreboard. This customization is persisted between application runs.
The Game Play:
Startup
Once at least 2 players have "Joined" the Lobby, they can join a new game by clicking the "Ready!?" button. Once at least 2 players are "Ready" their button changes to "Let's Play!". They can choose to start the game or wait for others to Join and become Ready. This game has been played with 6 monsters! All we need are more Spheros!!
Driving
The Monster is the "puck" for driving. Each Sphero's speed is scaled at 80% of max and the Vroooom button boosts it to 100%. Each player gets 1 Vroooom lasting 4 seconds every 20 seconds.
Impact Detection:
Bash detection is being done with what is becoming a complicated distributed algorithm, but the gist is that no Bash will ever be detected unless TWO Sphero's hit due to the use of timestamps. Running into walls, chairs etc will NOT trigger a Bash. The Basher, must register an impact in the front 1/2 of the Sphero where the Bashee must register an impact in the rear 1/2 of the Sphero for the "Bash" to count. A Bash shows funny old-skool batman style 'bang', 'crunch', etc graphic overlays on the Bashed player's screen and play funny cartoon sound effects on both the Basher and the Bashee's devices.
As each monster is Bashed Out (0 lives), their Sphero becomes disabled on the Bashing Fields. The winner is the last Monster rolling. ( a second game style is being implemented where the player first to get to X number of Bashes wins)
Sleep the Monster
Pet (multiple right swipes) the Monster on the Lobby view to sleep Sphero.
Planned Future Enhancements:
More fun round monsters.
Monster's customization will include turning-radius and boost settings.
